The next Mario Strikers: Battle League update will be released this month! While we don’t have an exact release date yet, Nintendo did show off what characters will be joining the game’s roster and more during this month’s Nintendo Direct.
Get ready for Pauline to enter the stadium and Diddy Kong to bring a barrel of fun into matches!
Along with Pauline and Diddy Kong, new gear and a new stadium will be included. Plus, according to a press release from Nintendo, “Striker Ranking based on skill points, customization options for the supporters in the audience and splashy match celebration effect options are being added.”
Art of Pauline and Diddy Kong have been shared on the official Mario Strikers: Battle League site, as well as the names of their Hyper Strikes and isolated clips of the moves in action. Pauline’s is called Swing Solo and Diddy Kong’s is Barrel Boom.
Watch out for Nintendo of America’s Twitter over the next few weeks (around 5 or 6 p.m. PT | 8 or 9 p.m. ET) for a tweet announcing that update’s release.
