Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to rev those engines! Nintendo of America has just confirmed that the second wave of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course tracks will be arriving on August 4th, bringing along some fan-favorite tracks from across the Mario Kart Universe and one all-new course to boot! Let’s take a look at what’s in store:
Like with Wave 1, Booster Course Wave 2 will include eight total tracks, seven of them spanning across Mario Kart’s vast library of legacy courses. But unlike the first wave, Wave 2 will feature a brand-new course, Sky-High Sundae, a high-octane race through an ice cream parlor in the sky. Here’s the full list of upcoming tracks:
- New York Minute (Tour)
- Mario Circuit 3 (SNES)
- Kalimari Desert (N64)
- Waluigi Pinball (DS)
- Sydney Sprint (Tour)
- Snow Land (GBA)
- Mushroom Gorge (Wii)
- Sky High Sundae (NEW)
If you want to get in on the high-speed action on August 4th, you can either pay $24.99 for the entire Booster Pass, which features a total of 48 tracks releases in several waves, or, if you’re a Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack member, you can download the entire pass for free as long as your subscription is active.
