For those who live in the city that never sleeps, Nintendo NY is offering customers a chance to purchase the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition bundle on the base game’s global launch day, this Friday, July 29th.
Those who manage to purchase the Special Edition at the Nintendo NY store (limit one per person) will go home only with a physical copy of the game. Like customers who managed to purchase the bundle from the online My Nintendo Store, the extra component contents will be given out at a later date.

Those who purchase the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition at the Nintendo NY store location will be able to pick up their artbook and SteelBook later this fall. You can’t have those items shipped either, as the Nintendo NY store will only have the option to pick up their Special Edition at the in-store register when it is made available.
For those hoping to pick up a copy of the Special Edition, Nintendo NY will open to all guests at 11 a.m. ET. Lining up will begin at 10 a.m. ET. The store will be open from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. ET, but to gain entry you needed to book an appointment through Nintendo’s experience site. Sadly, all time slots have been filled at the time of this posting.
Nintendo has yet to provide an exact date as to when the contents of the Special Edition will be distributed. When more updates regarding the contents of Xenoblade Chronicles 3’s Special Edition are made available, we will be sure to let you all know.
