As she destroys demons with unbridled style, titular heroine Bayonetta has a habit of being rather provocative and showing a fair bit of skin in her fight against the Angels of Paradiso. We love her for her confidence and unique flair, but it does mean that her games aren’t always the best choice for public display. Fortunately, developer PlatinumGames has announced a new mode for Bayonetta 3 so that more people can enjoy the upcoming sequel.

Naive Angel Mode covers up all of the characters’ naughty bits for those who prefer to hide the risqué content, or so that you can play around others without worrying about delicate eyes. As Platinum points out in its recent tweet, “By turning it on, you can play right in the living room without having to worry about what’s on screen.” The developer also shared a video comparing what the game looks like with the mode off and on.

The announcement of this mode comes shortly after a new trailer and the reveal of a special Trinity Masquerade Edition of the game.

Bayonetta 3 will launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch on October 28th, 2022.
