Summertime is in full swing, but it won’t be until September that squid kids reign supreme on Nintendo Switch again. Splatoon 3 is no doubt on players’ minds thanks to Nintendo drip-feeding info via the always-welcome Squid Research Lab. Today they’re serving up a tour of one of the game’s new multiplayer maps — Mincemeat Metalworks.
Squid Research Lab here with a meaty discovery—this is rare imagery of a new multiplayer stage: Mincemeat Metalworks! The facility was made FROM scrap metal in order to make MORE scrap metal. Also, there was a sea here that evaporated. Surely unrelated to heavy industry! pic.twitter.com/Z5RTmLMml4

Made of scrap to make more scrap, it fits right into the chaotic and apocalyptic vibes Splat3 is sea-shelling out.
Look forward to making your mark on this and every one of the game’s maps when the game launches on September 9th.
