Update (6/14/22): Capcom has revealed in a press release that the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak demo for Nintendo Switch and PC will be available starting today, June 14th, shortly after 7 p.m. PT | 9 p.m. CT | 10 p.m. ET.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is only a couple weeks away, but Capcom wants you to set out and see what’s new sooner than that. As announced in today’s Capcom Showcase, Sunbreak is finally getting a demo of its own, letting players take on monsters new to Rise and explore new skills and areas.

The Sunbreak demo will feature four quests that can be completed both solo and via multiplayer. Two of these, the Beginner and Intermediate quests, will have you facing off with the familiar Great Izuchi and Tetranadon, respectively. Not the most exciting quarry, but a great opportunity to get used to the new Switch Skill Swap mechanic. Where things get interesting are the Expert and Advanced quests, which pit you against Astalos (in the new-to-Sunbreak Jungle locale) and a super tough encounter with flagship Malzeno.

The wait for this demo won’t be long — it’s arriving tomorrow, June 14th!
