Unveiled during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase yesterday, Mojang has announced that Minecraft Legends will be coming to Nintendo Switch in 2023. Below, viewers can watch the game’s cinematic announcement trailer which also contains a small glimpse of pre-release gameplay.
In Minecraft Legends, players will fend off the piglin army who threaten to corrupt the Overworld with the power of the Nether. As they venture across a familiar world, the player character will discover several mysteries and create valuable bonds to protect their home. Minecraft Legends is packed with life, biomes, and resources from the original Minecraft game along with plenty of original characters to meet.
Minecraft Legends will be coming to Nintendo Switch sometime during 2023. No concrete release window has been provided yet. When more details are released by Mojang and Black Bird Interactive we’ll be sure to let you know.
