You best play your opponents better than those cards. The highly-anticipated indie game Card Shark from publisher Devolver Digital and developer Nerial releases today on the Nintendo eShop. Below, viewers can check out Card Shark’s animated launch trailer previewing the game’s deceitful skills players will have to utilize to survive and cheat their French foes.

In our review of Card Shark, we said that “Card Shark is exactly the game I wanted it to be. Its unique concept, setting, and presentation set it apart from every other game on the market right now. The very idea of a game about cheating at cards is brilliant, and the team came up with some pretty ingenious ways to translate what amounts to subtle signals, side glances, and modifying cards into a fun and challenging video game.”

Card Shark is now available on the Nintendo eShop for $19.99. A demo for the game is also available for those interested in trying their hand at the game’s mechanics.
