Sometimes in the hectic turf wars of Splatoon it can be tricky to figure out what you’ve actually contributed to a match. Well, the crafty developers of Splatoon 3 have implemented a remedy — a new system for handing out post-match recognition in certain categories, such as inking the most turf or jumping the most. Turf War specifically appears to have awards for “home” and “away” inkage, or in other words covering turf of your half of the field versus your opponent’s. The medals are only visible to you, so don’t worry about envy — just enjoy your achievements before moving on to the next round.
Splatoon 3 launches on September 9th.
