Mario Kart Tour is traveling from Amsterdam all the way to Isle Delfino for its next in-game event. The two-weeklong Doctor Tour might not be seasonal or city themed, but it’s nostalgic on a couple fronts. Not only is the fan-favorite Coconut Mall track making its mobile debut (after returning to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe via the Booster Course Pass), but Doctors Mario and Luigi are getting behind the wheel for the first time ever!
Debuting in the classic puzzle game, Doctor Mario has become the plumber’s most notable other occupation. Doctor Luigi might not have Super Smash Bros. level recognition, but he’s also made the pivot into MKT after Doctor Mario World shut down its service last year.
The previously teased Wario Mii Racing Suit will also be made available during the Doctor Tour. Another hint at the next suit can be spotted at the end of the above video, looking extra blocky.
All of this new content will arrive in Mario Kart Tour starting Tuesday, May 3rd, at 11 p.m. PT.
