We loved its atmosphere and updates to the series’ formula (which you can read more about in our full review), and it’s clearer than ever that we weren’t alone in that sentiment. Atlus has announced that SMTV has now sold 1 million units worldwide, reaching that milestone in about five months.

Though there haven’t been any major updates or announcements related to the game since its launch and initial DLC, Atlus has kept busy with the Switch launch of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim and the release of Persona 25th anniversary merchandise. If you’re after something challenging, then there’s nothing wrong with looking back to this standout from 2021.
