The force is strong with this one. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is starting off with a trip into hyperspace for launch week as UK sales figures have shown superb results. According to GSD (via Eurogamer), the latest LEGO title from TT Games is currently the second-largest physical launch for any game this year — which is also unsurprising considering how well LEGO and Star Wars games have sold in the region.

For some perspective, this means LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has outsold other recent game launches including Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Elden Ring by a significant margin. Additionally, several other LEGO titles have climbed back into the top 40 selling games list in the UK. LEGO Jurassic World and the two LEGO Marvel Super Heroes games noticeably slipped back into the lower ranks.

In our review of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga we said that “this entry sets the bar pretty high for future LEGO releases, bringing a lot to the table with over 300 characters and plenty of ships to speed around the galaxy in, not to mention the rich and surprisingly funny experience that awaits you thanks to all new levels and cutscenes spanning the nine main films in the franchise.”
