For the majority of the Earth’s land mass, spring is here, a time when cold winter gives way to warmer winds. But below the Earth’s equator, the opposite is occurring, as they gear up for chilly weather after a hot summer. And Nintendo is honoring that autumnal April the only way they know how — with a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tournament.

The Australia/New Zealand Autumn Grand Prix takes place from the 16th through the 18th from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. AEST each day. The tournament will be 24 races-long at 150cc, shuffling groups every fourth match. The top ten winners from each day (as well as twenty other randomly selected participants) will each receive 2,500 Gold Points for their efforts.

You can check out the full list of terms for more info. Good luck to all participants!
