There are more Nedoroids than I could ever hope to own available courtesy of Good Smile, with a few Kirby figures being all I’ve picked up so far. That said, I might need to make room for this little guy, a rendition of Hades’ Zagreus in their signature style. It’s a big transition from Supergiant Games’ own art to this extra cute depiction, and a behind-the-scenes video has been shared that takes a look at various steps in that process.
Not only do we get to hear from pros from Good Smile itself, but Supergiant’s Art Director and Creative Director for Hades — Jen Zee and Greg Kasavin respectively — also participate to share their own thoughts and insight.
Pre-orders for Zag are currently open, and it’s just been announced that fellow Hades character and potential lover Thanatos will also get their own Nendoroid. There’ll be quite a bit of waiting for that one, but Zagreus himself should ship sometime this October.
