In a huge tale of commercial success, Capcom spinoff Monster Hunter Stories 2 has sold a staggering 1.5 million units in the half-year or so since its release.
With over 1,500,000 units shipped for #MHStories2, the bonds of friendship between Riders and Hunters have never been stronger!

While this may seem modest in the face of Monster Hunter Rise’s 7.7 million units sold (and minute when compared to Monster Hunter World’s 18 million), keep in mind the first MH Stories game only sold about 300,000 copies when it released in 2016. That means the sequel sold five times as well. There are a number of factors influencing that (the rising cultural presence of MonHun, the bigger install base on Switch, etc.), but it’s worth celebrating either way. Kudos!
