A new year of Nintendo releases is about to begin, and that means more possibilities for Tetris 99 themes! The freemium puzzle game has been rolling out cross promotional customization since its start. Now a new Tetris Maximus Cup (the 28th!) is on the way, featuring sights and sounds from Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Beginning January 20th and running through the 24th, the Hisui region will make an appearance in Tetris 99. The new theme and its corresponding music hasn’t been shared just yet, but a safe assumption based on the announcement would be the two possible player characters and the starting partner trio of Rowlet, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott.
Be sure to hop online and give this one a go later in the month, and look forward to Pokémon Legends: Arceus once it releases on January 28th.
