2020’s Breath of the Wild psuedo-prequel Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity made a splash early on by becoming Koei Tecmo’s best selling musou title. While sales have naturally slowed since it passed 3 million units in November of 2020, another milestone has just been reached.

As revealed by the game’s official Japanese twitter account, Age of Calamity has hit 4 million units shipped physically and sold digitally.

A sale is being held in Japan for the game to commemorate the occasion, but we’ll have to wait and see if western publisher Nintendo follows suit.
