As we eagerly await The Game Awards 2021 later this week, we also now have confirmation from host Geoff Keighley that his other big yearly gaming event, Summer Game Fest, will return in (you guessed it) Summer 2022.

Summer Games Fest is a celebration of what’s next for the games industry, featuring previews of upcoming games and other exciting announcements from various publishers. Keighley didn’t reveal a date for the 2022 event, but told fans to “Stay tuned for more details.”
This year’s Summer Games Fest featured a Hades musical performance from Darren Korb and Ashley Barrett, the reveal of Evil Dead: The Game, and a slew of Among Us updates among other announcements.
While we wait for more news about the summer festivities, make sure to tune in to The Game Awards later this week, on Thursday, December 9th.
