Celebrating the franchise’s 25th anniversary, The Pokémon Company has been releasing one episode of Pokémon Evolutions each week for the past month. The fifth episode of the eight-part celebratory limited series is now available online. Focused on the Sinnoh region’s Barry, the latest episode of the series titled “The Rival” follows the young aspiring trainer’s journey to find his own greatness.
From his first day finding Piplup at Lake Verity to his final days at the region’s Battle Tower, the episode covers Barry’s entire story from Pokémon’s Sinnoh iterations. Check out the episode below!
Pokémon Evolutions’ sixth episode will premiere next Thursday, December 9th. Titled “The Wish,” it’s set to focus on the Hoenn region. If you’re late watching this week’s entry though, you owe Barry his ten million!
