Sonic Colors: Ultimate continues to fine tune itself, with Sega sharing the game’s latest patch notes over social media. Most of the improvements are across all platforms, but there is one Switch specific detail added in for good measure.

Stability and audio improvements look to be the main focus, along with an update towards a trophy/achievement tied to the game’s notoriously long credits. Switch owners will also have Eggman fireworks present after clearing the Terminal Velocity stage, catching an oft cited difference for that platform.

It being the holidays, Colors: Ultimate is currently on sale at various retailers, so if you have faith in these updates and the game’s future this could be a golden time to pick it up. For a little added convincing, reach for our full Sonic Colors: Ultimate review.
