It’s that time of year again when rampant consumerism fuels us all, and Nintendo’s rolling out discounts a-plenty to tempt our good will and wallets. Multiple games are seeing discounts, including a couple of the Switch’s more unique offerings. For all that’s been new this year, the star of the show is a familiar console bundle.

Yes, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is back as the pack-in title for the Switch Black Friday 2021 bundle. $299.99 will get you a standard Switch console — not the new OLED model — along with MK8 and a three month Nintendo Switch Online membership. With this, Mario Kart is sure to widen its lead as the best-selling title in the Switch’s impressive library.

Anyone after games, the following titles will be available for $39.99 this holiday season:

  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
  • New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe
  • Super Mario Maker 2
  • The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening
  • Splatoon 2
  • Paper Mario: The Origami King
  • Kirby Star Allies
  • Fire Emblem: Three Houses
  • Astral Chain
  • Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition

Many of these have been at this price point before, sometimes even lower. Impressive a set of games it is, anyone hoping to pick up Animal Crossing: New Horizons or Metroid Dread for a little cheaper may be disappointed.

The other two deals are for Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit and Ring Fit Adventure. These are two of the more unique Nintendo Switch titles due to their required peripherals and how they reach beyond the game itself. Mario Kart Live will be available for $59.99 in both its Mario and Luigi variants, while Ring Fit will hit $54.99.

All these deals will go into effect on November 21st, with no end date given. Still, with more and more people getting Switches and availability being tested, it might be worth it to grab what you’re after as soon as you can.
