Paradise Planing is now open for business thanks to the release of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise DLC! Unfortunately, fans have encountered some bugs while redesigning Villagers’ homes on their main island.

Nintendo is aware of the errors. They issued a tweet thread via Nintendo of Europe outlining the main cause of these bugs, a temporary “workaround”, and the promise of a patch releasing later this month.

#AnimalCrossingNewHorizons players who own the Happy Home Paradise DLC may experience gameplay bugs if they visit Resident Services and ask to remodel a resident’s home while the gates at their airport are open.

We recommend players to not attempt to remodel an island resident’s home while the gates at their airport are open. As long as the airport gates are closed, you should not encounter these gameplay bugs when remodelling residents’ homes on your island.

If you encounter these gameplay bugs, please end your play session, close the game and re-launch it. Your save file will not be affected. A patch to fix this issue will be released this month. We apologise for the inconvenience. For more info: bit.ly/3mUR3Kh

Given that Metroid Dread was found to have a major bug last month and Nintendo released a patch about a week later, chances are we’ll see this fixed in Happy Home Paradise very, very soon!
