Super Smash Bros. Ultimate had an incredible assortment of newcomers across its vanilla release and DLC. Yes, Ultimate’s cast is getting its own dedicated tournament event, just like all previous Smash games have. It’s worth mentioning that the Switch game’s new challengers total nearly the entire character select screen in Melee, and really shows how far the series has come.
