Get your tetrominoes ready! At today’s Indie World Showcase, it was announced that Tetris Effect will finally be coming to the Nintendo Switch. Mixing up the traditional Tetris formula with a relaxing and mesmerizing esthetic, Tetris Effect: Connected will offer the complete content package of the original game and its late update when it releases later this October.

The Nintendo Switch version of Tetris Effect: Connected is set to add a new multiplayer mode that will allow up to three players to work together to clear one massive Tetris board simultaneously. Additionally, there will also be a two-player versus competitive multiplayer mode. Both new game types will be compatible with both online and couch co-op when the title launches.

Tetris Effect: Connected will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on October 8th, 2021 — yes that’s right, the same day as the Nintendo Switch OLED and Metroid: Dread. The Switch version will also support cross-play with PlayStation, Xbox, and PC users. Get Connected!
