One of my favorite games of all time, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, is already a gorgeous game, even if just from an artistic perspective. However, some fans feel they could juice the game’s visuals even more with mods on PC.

PC modder Digital Dreams released a video showing an emulated Breath of the Wild running in 8K with a “beyond all limits” raytracing re-shade. It’s a truly beautiful sight, and makes the already delightful world of Hyrule come to life even more. The PC running this game, however, is a beefy one. 32GB of RAM, an ASUS RTX 3090 graphics card, and 2TB SSD are just the tip of the iceberg of the requirements to run this beautiful scenery. Still, even if running it on your rig is a far-off dream, we can still appreciate the great work that went into the mod and the video!
