This week, Nintendo announced new summer-themed content for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but it hasn’t forgotten about the game’s younger mobile cousin. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp players can now apply the title’s new Summer Vacation Vibes update.
Starting today, Camp Managers can log in for free gifts. From now until Wednesday, August 4th at 10:59 p.m., you can get a special daily gift of a Summer Campsite Gift to send to friends or a fortune cookie.
For anyone who has their game linked with their My Nintendo account, a new reward is available for free! Head over to My Nintendo’s Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp rewards page to redeem a pearl-oyster shell plush. This freebie will be available for a limited time, disappearing after 10:59 p.m. PT on Friday, August 27th.
While all this is going on, Pascal’s garden event is in full swing! The garden event rates have been boosted so now it’s even easier to collect items from Pascal’s Deep-Sea Digs set. You can spot some of the items in the August update teaser shared on Twitter:

In addition, the game’s AR camera now features Simple Snapshot Mode, giving players a more simplified template when snapping photos. Until August 8th at 10:59 p.m. PT, players are encouraged to share AR photos of their food on Twitter using the hashtag #ACPCFoodie. The official Pocket Camp Twitter account teases that “there might be an in-game gift” if enough submissions are received.
