The Nintendo Switch has become a massive hub for Metroidvania games, and Aeternum Game Studios S.L’s latest project (supported by PlayStation Spain) is joining the lineup. Below, you can check out the in-depth announcement trailer for the studio’s upcoming title Aeterna Noctis that will be releasing this winter.
Aeterna Noctis will be a challenging Metroidvania title with plenty of intense combats to master and skill-based platforming sections to traverse. Taking on the role of the ‘King of Darkness’, the player must help the royal warrior regain his power across 16 different and connected areas. Aeterna Noctis is set to feature over 100 enemies, difficult puzzles, and an epic journey told through environmental storytelling.
