Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s been adding spirits to celebrate either new releases or familiar franchises fairly regularly, but I don’t think anyone could’ve predicted this yield. None other than Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, the surprise hit action/farming adventure developed by Edelweiss, is coming to Smash!
Again, this is just via a trio of spirits, but it’s still a notable achievement for the game. Published by Marvelous and Xseed, the million seller is well worth checking out. As for who’ll be coming to the Spirit Board…

Naturally Sakuna, the spoiled harvest goddess and the game’s main character, is featured. She’s joined by her loyal, expositing companion Tama as well as fellow goddess Kokorowa.
Be sure to hop on Smash starting this Friday, July 16th, to make sure you get the whole set. They’ll be available all weekend long before going out of season, though like the recently returning Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury and Monster Hunter Rise spirits, these Sakuna spirits will surely grow again some day.
