Hot off the heels of the triumphant return of Roger Craig Smith to the role of the Blue Blur, a new two-part animation series has been announced by the man himself during today’s Sonic Central stream!
Sonic Colors: Rise of the Wisps will be a new, two-episode animated series drawn in the same art style as the Sonic Mania Adventures and Team Sonic Racing Overdrive series. This show will tell a new story in the world of Sonic Colors, where Sonic and Tails must team up with a new ally to rescue a group of captured wisps from the clutches of the nefarious Dr. Eggman.
While the series will only be two episodes in length, Roger teased in his reveal that Rise of the Wisps will be the first of multiple short-form animated series featuring full dialogue from the Sonic The Hedgehog voice cast!
