Promised and previewed at SXSW, Sega has released the very first episode of Sonic Mania Adventures. Featuring Classic Sonic back at it again in the same style as Mania’s cutscenes, courtesy of artist and writer Tyson Hesse. Check it out:
I never thought I needed to see Sonic and Eggman in a slap fight, or Sonic getting floated away by Flickies like it’s no big deal, but here we are. The direction and style are fun and fantastic — and that tease at the end? Sign me up for more.
