Hot Wheels Unleashed, the nostalgia-filled arcade racer from Milestone, still has quite a way to go before crossing the finish line this autumn. Thankfully, a new trailer has dropped that showcases more cars and an all-new environment from the game that’s sure to please many collectors — especially those hoping to see a particular meat-byproduct-themed car in action.
“Reminiscent of a typical American university, the College Campus features a complex environment that has three main areas: the library, the classroom, and the chemistry lab. Players are able to build courses that twist and turn from room to room using the main hallway as a connector. Though the more daring students may notice that the school’s ventilations system achieves the same purpose…”
Within the trailer, six more cars were showcased for the first time: Total Disposal, Power Rocket, Skull Crusher, Tanknator, Winning Formula, Exotique, and the iconic Street Wiener are all now confirmed to be joining the game’s massive roster of 60+ cars!
This announcement brings the total number of revealed environments to three, with the Garage and Skyscraper environments having already been showcased in past trailers. Milestone has promised that more cars and environments will be revealed throughout the summer, and we’ll be sure to cover them quicker than a Twin Mill on a downhill track, so stay tuned here at Nintendo Wire for the latest info!
