With all eyes on the Zelda and Loftwing amiibo announcement last night, Nintendo had another surprise for fans of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Launching on the same day at The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, a variety of items inspired by the game will be available at Nintendo Tokyo. Notably, the item that’s caught everyone’s eye is Zelda’s Sailcloth being transformed into a mini bath towel.

While small, the entire collection consists of a Sailcloth mini bath towel, True Master Sword hand towel, Hylia Shield memo pad, True Master Sword ballpoint pen, and a clear pouch featuring official artwork of Link on his Loftwing. Sample renders of the items are only available as of this posting.

Nintendo Tokyo is also offering two bundles combining the merch with a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD. A Sailcloth only add-on costs ¥8,000 (about $73.44) whereas getting the entire collection plus the game is ¥12,000 (about $110.18).

While these items won’t be available until Friday, July 16th, pre-orders are being accepted on Japan’s My Nintendo Store. Unfortunately, for anyone outside of Japan that wants any of these goods, you’ll have to purchase them through a proxy seller. Nintendo Tokyo merchandise is limited to the store (and the online My Nintendo Store), and is not available to be imported directly from Nintendo.
