Recently, Sega has been making a push to release its Japanese games globally. The upcoming Lost Judgment, the latest game from the Yakuza devs at Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios, will see a simultaneous launch this September, while the company is seemingly working with Nintendo for a global launch of Shin Megami Tensei V later this year.
Thanks to a new report from Famitsu, with a translation by Nibel, it sounds like this will be the plan going forward, with Sega’s Chief Strategy Officer Shuji Utsumi chiming in to say as much. Better yet, they are also hoping to release Atlus games across more platforms – in the past, the company has often released exclusively for PlayStation systems and done ports later.
SEGA's Shuji Utsumi told Famitsu that Yakuza 7 was the most successful title in the franchise worldwide
He also stated that SEGA wants to "globally expand" ATLUS games by releasing them simultaneously worldwide and possibly on multiple platformshttps://t.co/NaEuCooXv7 pic.twitter.com/uF6YtLRTco

The same article from Famitsu also contains the line “a new Sonic title may be announced soon.” We’ll just have to wait and see if that’s an all-new title or the rumored remaster of Sonic Colors.
