Recently we learned that Oddventure, a turn-based RPG self-described as “…if Nietzsche had a child with Alice in Wonderland and their kid was raised on Grimms’ Fairy Tales and EarthBound[,]” would be coming to Switch as well as the previously announced PC. To support that development, an Oddventure Kickstarter is now live, letting fans pledge and pay their way to some rewards and learn quite a bit about the game and its characters.

Along with the Kickstarter came a new trailer, giving a fresh look at Charlie’s cursed fairy-tale adventure. Those intrigued by her oversized sleeves, nihilistic views, and anger issues can also check out the currently available Steam demo before donating. After a single day, publisher and co-developer Pineapple Works has received over $14,000 of its targeted $24,135 goal, with the Kickstarter set to run until June 5th.

Oddventure is still well in development, with a planned release date in September 2022.
