If there’s one Mario character that knows how to “open wide” for a check-up, it’s the mouthy botanical boss Petey Piranha. Sure enough, the mutant Piranha Plant is now a qualified doctor in mobile title Dr. Mario World.

Petey’s skill in Stage Mode and Versus Mode allows him to eliminate objects in the lowest position of each column, including objects that require multiple matches.
Petey Piranha debuted as an antagonist in Super Mario Sunshine, and has since cameoed in the Super Smash Bros. franchise as well as many Mario spinoff series, including Mario Party, Paper Mario, Mario & Luigi, and many sports titles.
Petey is available now in Dr. Mario World, joining the ranks of many other strange inclusions in the game’s medical profession including Dr. Blooper, Dr. Dolphin, and Dr. Goomba Tower.
