For a game based in hell, Hades has certainly seen a heavenly streak of awards since its 2020 release. The latest nomination is from the Game Developers Choice Awards, and as you might expect, Hades and Animal Crossing: New Horizons received multiple nominations, including “Game of the Year.”
There are also many other Nintendo Switch titles (existing and upcoming) nominated for a variety of awards and honorable mentions:

This is just one of many times Hades has been recognized for its quality, having recent won awards at the BAFTAs, the SXSW Gaming Awards, and the New York Game Awards, to name a few.
The GDCA ceremony will air on Wednesday, July 21st, at 4:30 p.m. PT, available to watch for all GDC 2021 pass-holders. The event will be all-digital for a second year in a row due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
