The Game Developers Conference, or “GDC”, was expected to head to San Francisco once again last month, but it was yet another event delayed due to the on-going COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. As promised, an update has been shared regarding the status of the show, and it turns out GDC is going digital this summer.

In an official update post, GDC’s organizers confirm that they will “work hard to deliver the high-quality content and networking opportunities GDC attendees have come to expect” with the new all-digital event, which will be available to everyone with an internet connection.

You’ll be able to check in on the all-digital GDC Summer event from August 4 through August 6.
