The news comes courtesy of a gorgeous new trailer showing off not only faithful level recreations but also some of the new content, like the alternate boss fights.

A physical release has also been confirmed by Signature Edition games, featuring three enamel pins, a Master System-themed box, a certificate signed by the developers, and more besides.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX will launch for the Nintendo Switch and all other current platforms on June 24th.
