The Pokémon Company is doing up the Pokémon’s 25th anniversary in a big way. On top of new games like New Pokémon Snap and Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, they’ve also announced what is essentially a year-long music festival called P25 Music. With music being such a focus of this anniversary celebration, the official Pokémon YouTube channel has shared an adorable musical short that’s as pure and wholesome as one could possibly imagine.
The short features Pokémon Sword and Shield’s starters forming an impromptu band alongside Pikachu, using moves and the environment to make a catchy beat. Brace yourself, it’s a cuteness overload:
