The animated retelling of Neku and his partners’ time in Shibuya is nearly here. The World Ends With You: The Animation will begin airing in Japan in one month’s time, and ahead of the long awaited debut a new preview has been released. Featuring nearly every key character from the game and the freshest look at its sweet art style, it’s one fans won’t want to miss.
The World Ends With You: The Animation will begin airing on April 9th. While there’s no confirmation of anything wholly new to the plot compared to the original game, with Neo: The World Ends With You on the way I wouldn’t be surprised if the upcoming sequel got some sort of shout out. Regardless, keep an eye out for news on that one soon.
