We’ve known about R-Type Final 2’s arrival in this solar system for some time now. The sci-fi bullet-hell shooter in the long-running R-Type franchise was announced for a western release late last year, and given a vague “2021” window. Thankfully, fans of the genre won’t have to wait much longer, as R-type Final 2 will be taking flight worldwide on April 30th!
The release date was announced in a heart-pounding new trailer, which you can check out below!
Along with the trailer, NIS America shared a few more details on this intergalactic shoot-em-up:

R-type Final 2 will finally blast off in the West on Friday, April 30th!
