Great googly eyes, has it really been six years for Playtonic? The group that banded together for a Rare-revival in the form of Yooka-Laylee is setting up to celebrate their birthday next week, announcing that something will occur on February 12th.

While no details on what to expect were given (be it some kind of reveal, or stream) it should be a fine celebratory time for the dev. This also happens to coincide with the recent birthday of Steve Mayles, the creator of Playtonic’s chameleon-bat duo as well as Banjo & Kazooie, Dixie Kong, King K. Rool, and more.
