Last week’s Special Battle! was a doozy! Part of the first World Count Challenge, the Bowser-centric Special Battle! lasted a full week instead of its usual four-day event. With those extra three days, did Super Mario Bros. 35 players around the world drop the axe on 3.5 million Bowsers? Actually, no – it was 5.3 million Bowsers!
Here are the results for the 1st World Count Challenge in #SuperMarioBros35!
A total of 5,363,696 Bowsers were defeated!
Congratulations, everyone! All participants who defeated at least one Bowser will receive 350 My Nintendo Platinum Points gifted to their accounts! pic.twitter.com/K6AzrxJqvw

Woohoo! It’s amazing what a bit of teamwork can do (and an incentive of 350 Platinum Points). Now that we’ve conquered the first World Count Challenge, it’s time to get back to our regularly scheduled Super Mario Bros. 35 Special Battle! This weekend’s theme is one you either love or greatly dislike – it’s a Limited-World Battle.

The return of these hyper-focused course collections is here, but luckily this one has some extra wiggle room. From Thursday, January 28th, at 11 p.m. PT until Sunday, January 31st, at 10:59 p.m. PT, you’ll be running around in circles in Worlds 2, 3, and 5.
Use your coins wisely in order to race to the finish line and clinch that coveted #1 spot! Good luck!
