For the fastest thing alive, Sonic sure has taken a long time to get his movie onto a streaming service. After a highly successful theatrical run and plenty of positive reception, the film adaptation of Sonic the Hedgehog will finally be watchable on a subscription-based streaming platform.

As reported by SEGAbits (and made known by TV Guide), the movie will be available to watch starting on February 18th, nearly a year to the day after its original wide release. Despite other Sonic shows appearing on (or being planned for) Netflix, the Paramount Pictures distributed film will instead drop (dash) onto Hulu for the foreseeable future.

This is solid timing, as production for the movie’s announced sequel should begin the following month, in March 2021, with a targeted release date of April 8th, 2022.
