HypeTrain Digital and LEAP Game Studios announced today that their successfully Kickstarted beat ‘em up Tunche is heading to Switch (and more) in just a few months. Anyone watching the latest Indie World was able to take in the eye-catching look of the game, set in the Amazonian jungle.

The game also features up to four-player co-op and rogue-like elements. Most interesting to me though is the description of its combat system. It’s described as high risk, high reward, and will also feature a “stylish” grade system. While common in action titles, having it in a beat ‘em up might encourage some combos that are just as visually pleasing as the game itself.
Tunche will be bringing its hand-drawn adventure to Switch, Xbox One, and Steam. It’s got a special guest too, in the form of A Hat in Time’s plucky heroine Hat Kid! The game arrives on the Nintendo eShop on March 23rd, 2021.
