The holidays are a great time to celebrate the act of giving back, and if you want a good cause to support this holiday season maybe you should consider purchasing Ori and the Will of the Wisps on Nintendo Switch this week.

Moon Studios, the indie creatives behind Ori and the Will of the Wisps, and iam8bit, have partnered up with charity Rainforest Trust to help spread awareness to its cause, and also donate towards its preservation efforts.

This means that, until December 13th, 5% from all sales of Ori and the Will of the Wisps will go towards helping the foundation. Rainforest Trust’s primary goal is to spread awareness to preserve the Earth’s rainforests, so it’s only fitting that the creators of a nature-themed game like Ori would partner up for such a cause.

Publisher and merchandiser iam8bit, whose first game published was Ori and the Will of the Wisps, also pledged $25,000 to the cause.

So, if you haven’t checked the game out yet, now’s as good a time as ever!
