It’s been a while since we’ve heard from the Inkwell Isles. While Cuphead has continued to appear on other platforms (and at Arby’s), there was no word on the previously announced The Delicious Last Course DLC. Until today, unfortunately, where the expansion was confirmed to be delayed by Studio MDHR itself.
In the wake of the ongoing global pandemic affecting so many, we have made the difficult decision to push back the release of The Delicious Last Course. For our wonderful Cuphead community, we've prepared a letter from Studio MDHR founders Chad & Jared Moldenhauer to share more. pic.twitter.com/XiU57Wcn1y

The Delicious Last Course is due to feature a new playable character, Ms. Chalice, as well as Chef Saltbaker and brand new bosses, weapons, and more. Considering how much time and work went into the original Cuphead, it’s understandable to see this one pushed back once again.
Citing challenges tied to Covid-19 and a (rightful) unwillingness to compromise their vision of the DLC, the new target release is sometime in 2021.
