Previously, several months before Studio MDHR’s masterful cartoon action-platformer Cuphead landed on Switch, the developers revealed they were working on a batch of DLC for the game, titled The Delicious Last Course. In the wake of the Switch release, we all assumed that the platform would receive said DLC whenever it released — and now we have confirmation, as Studio MDHR has announced on Twitter that The Delicious Last Course has been pushed back to 2020 for all platforms.

While the delay may make us wait longer for more run-and-gun goodness, Studio MDHR assures us it’s to maintain the same level of quality while making sure the developers achieve a healthy lifestyle in the meantime. And to tide us over, we also have a teaser trailer that gives us a sneak peek at some of the new bosses we’ll be fighting along the way. Check it out:

We’ll be sure to offer a more specific release date whenever it’s announced. Stay wired for more Cuphead DLC news going forward.
