A new Nintendo Versus Autumn Series event has been announced, and it’s for the freshest multiplayer game around. Splatoon 2 returns with a North American Open December 2020 tournament event. While there are still My Nintendo Gold Coins to be won, this time around the top prize is something even shinier.

As noted on the official Splatoon 2 Battlefy page, the top placing team will earn an exclusive grand prize Champion trophy. There will also be trophies for members of Top 4 placing teams, with those placing 5th through 8th taking home 2,500 digital Gold Coins.
Registration is now open, with the competition running during the weekend of December 5th and 6th, starting at 10 a.m. PT.
