Other than glimpses of concept art and amiibo pre-orders, things have been quiet on the Monster Hunter Rise frontier since its announcement. With plenty of time to go between now and the game’s release next March, fans may’ve been worried they’d be drip-fed information over the months as we wonder what monsters we can expect and potential weapon possibilities.
Thankfully, Capcom has shed light on one of the more important questions that surrounds pretty much every game that comes along these days.

You can absolutely pet the Palamute, and they can also shake and balance treats on their noses. This opens all sorts of other dog based possibilities for the game and is sure to make your Palico jealous.
Monster Hunter Rise and its canine companion will arrive on March 26th, 2021.
